Huda und Kai zeigen euch, wie ihr euer eigenes Hardcover Notizbuch machen könnt, sowie man eine Broschüre näht, für die, die mit einem kleineren Projekt anfangen wollen. Der Großteil der Materialien und Werkzeuge liegt vor, aber es wird stark geraten, die benötigten Materialien (siehe unten) mitzubringen, damit jeder genug zum Binden hat.

Benötigte Materialien (Notizbuch)
- 20 Seiten (A4 Format) für den Buchblock. Können blanko, Fehldrucke, oder anderweitig benutzte Papiere sein, und müssen auch nicht alle gleich sein
- Graupappe von der Rückseite eines Collegeblocks, Zeichenblocks, oder von Cornflakes o.Ä. Verpackung (A5 Format)

Benötigte Materialien (Broschüre)
- 2 Seiten (A4 Format) für den Buchblock. Können blanko, Fehldrucke, oder anderweitig benutzte Papiere sein, und müssen auch nicht alle gleich sein

Optionale Materialien / Werkzeuge:
- Stoffreste (A6-A5 Format) für Buchrücken
- Dekoratives Papier (A4 Format) für die Deckel
- (Bienenwachs) Kerze um Faden zu wachsen
- Utilitymesser

Huda and Kai will walk you through how to make your own hardcover notebook, as well as how to sew a pamphlet, for those who’d like to start with a smaller project.The majority of materials and tools are already accounted for, but it is strongly advised to bring the needed materials (see below), so that everyone will have enough to work with.

Needed Materials (Notebook)
- 20 pages (A4 format) for the textblock. Can be blank, misprints, or otherwise used papers, and do not have to match each other
- Chipboard/greyboard from the back of any notepad / old notebooks / drawing pads, or even cerealbox cardboard or packaging (A5 format)

Needed Materials (Pamphlet)
- 2 pages (A4 format) for the textblock. Can be blank, misprints, or otherwise used papers, and do not have to match each other

Optional Materials / Tools:
- fabric scraps (A6-A5 format) to cover spine
- decorative paper (A4 format) for the covers
- (beeswax) candle to wax the thread
- utility cutter
